Our Manpower Consultants begin with defining and developing a comprehensive understanding of the context for the Search.

Right Step headhunters assess market availability, use comparative benchmarking and headhunt candidates who not only have the required experience and expertise but are the correct cultural fit with the client organisation. A senior Executive Search Specialist is involved in every search assignment until its successful completion.

Typically, a client team comprises multiple consultants with respective industry expertise who work under a Senior Search Consultant who also is the primary interface with the client.

The context driven process includes:

1. Planning & Insight

Context Assessment

Following extensive consultation with the client about their recruitment needs, we develop a comprehensive understanding of the client organization, its business divisions, structure, business goals, culture as well as the specific recruitment requirements. The reasons why the job would be attractive to potential candidates are also carefully noted.

Context Brief

The objectives of the executive search assignment are defined and Right Step creates communication brief / materials that describe the opportunity and the organization for potential candidates. We lay a lot of emphasis on positioning of the client in right perspective with candidates.

Contextual Intelligence

Our Manpower Consultant conduct background analysis of the target industries / companies to support the search; quickly gain additional insight and perspective of target segments.

Headhunting Strategy

A specific executive search target is drawn, often calling on the contextual experience and creativity of the consultant. This is a critical step because it defines the direction of the executive search.

2. Executive Search Management

Initial Contact

Potential candidates are thoroughly screened, their qualifications examined, past performance discussed, motivation and personality assessed. A long list of qualified candidates together with profiles are usually discussed thoroughly internally before presenting to the client. Aside from comprehensive candidate reports, market reaction is also constantly fed to the client.

Candidate Meetings

Interviews and meetings are organized for the short listed candidates. After each session, feedback is obtained from all parties and interest levels on both sides are carefully monitored.

3. Closure

Negotiations

We actively participate wherever required to help both the client and the candidate to arrive at a consensus and draw on our knowledge in market compensation and benefits.

Wherever required we do extensive and formal reference checks to confirm candidate career achievements.

Handholding

After a successful candidate has been appointed and begun their assignment, Right Step maintains an ongoing dialogue with both the candidate and the client to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
